HotRecorder for Music 1.0.15 hangs upon startup.  Solution: unplug your network cable.  For some reason, HotRecorder just began hanging at the splash screen upon startup (on two machines here, I tried it on my other machine once the first one started & the second one is having the problem too).  After much investigation, I found that unplugging my network cable just before launching it solves the problem, and it allows the application to launch.  You can also use your outbound firewall to block the outbound traffic -- that worked for me too.

CD-ROM content in Explorer doesn't change when inserting a new CD:  The problem I was having was that I would have one CD or DVD in my drive, then I would eject it and put in another one.  However, Windows did not recognize that the contents had changed.  Even right-clicking on the device in My Computer and selecting 'Eject' would not work.  See this article for the fix.
