TiVo NetFlix RSS Reader Download Page

If you do not have the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.5.0 or newer installed, you should install it first from Sun's JRE download page.

   Windows: Download netflixrss-1.70-install.exe    (1 MB)            (source may be found here)
   Mac/UNIX: Download netflixrss-1.70.zip

Windows Users - Quick Start

Simply download and run the installer above.

If you have an older version installed, you do not need to uninstall it (in fact, you shouldn't, or you'll lose your profile ID settings.)  Simply install the new one over top of the old one.

The installer will create a Windows service called "TiVo: NetFlix RSS Reader." It will also add an exception to Windows Firewall for the service.  If you use a different software firewall on your PC, you well need to manually add an exception for C:\Program Files\NetFlix RSS Reader\NetFlix_RSS_Svc.exe (or wherever you installed it).

UNIX Users

	Unzip the ZIP file above someplace memorable (e.g. ~/tivo )
	Be sure to set your NetFlix profile ID(s).  instructions
	cd  ~/tivo/netflixrss
	sh ./runnf.sh
